Funalicious Book Signing & Artist in Residence Recognition
Please join us on Thursday, November 17 from 4:00-6:00 PM in the Criser Cancer Resource Center for the Funalicious book signing. We are located at the UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital, 1st floor, room 1302.
What is Funalicious? In this book Edward decides to tell his exciting, fast moving, fun story about a typical day of fishing with his daddy.
The illustrations are created by pediatric patients at the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital with the assistance of the Arts in Medicine artists and volunteers. Proceeds from the book will be donated to Arts in Medicine. The book can be purchased at the event for $15.99.
About the author: Carol Skipper is a member of Florida Writers Association, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and Writers Alliance of Gainesville. Her poetry has been published in the Senior Times and in Bacopa. She has also been published by Fireside Publications.
